About Me
My name is Becky. I'm a mother of three and I am a hardworking, dedicated, and driven. As a kid, I was always active whether it was through sports or just being outside. Growing up, I was in various sports including slow-pitched softball, cross-country, track and field, karate, tennis, cheerleading, and gymnastics. I still hold four records that I broke during track and field at my high school. On the weekends I would race my remote controlled buggy as well. I was always a busy body when I was younger, at one point I held a job during high school while participating in slow-pitched softball, gymnastics, and track and field at the same time while keeping my grades up to remain on the honor roll.

I always had a passion for fitness, which is why I choose personal training. However, the career choice didn't really hit me until I was around 23 years old. After receiving my general education credits at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2008, I decided to postpone any further education until I could figure out what I wanted as a career.
In 2012, I found out that Pennsylvania College of Technology had a program called Physical Fitness Specialist (now called Exercise Science) and I applied to be apart of the 2 year program. I ended up a highly respected and knowledgeable student, graduating in the last class to be called Physical Fitness Specialists, with a 4.0 GPA after taking a year off between due to welcoming my youngest son into the world. During my time at Penn Tech, I gained a vast amount of knowledge on resistance and cardiovascular training, program planning, nutrition, exercise physiology, management, general wellness, kinesiology, behavior modification, fitness testing, training different types of people with chronic illnesses, group exercise, body composition, and I even got to train clients. Just after graduating, I took a step further by testing for my personal training certification through NSCA and I am now a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer. I also have a certification through the Red Cross for First Aid and CPR.

I currently use my education and certification to grow my personal brand through social media. I post weekly educational YouTube videos on my channel. I also have a Facebook page and Instagram, Becky Fidler Fitness, where I share my YouTube videos, motivation, and other educational content. All social media links are linked above.

On top of being a CPT and Physical Fitness Specialist, I work a seasonal job as a laborer for Day's Lawn Service Inc. My duties there include landscape maintenance, hardscaping, general maintenance of equipment, and office work. My work is the reason I started lifting weights. The job offered an increase in pay compared to a previous job I held. I weighed 110 pounds and I could not lift, wheel, or drag anything worth crap. I was laughed at because I couldn't lift an Arborvitae out of the hole in which it sat in (it was no more than 5 feet tall). All of this combined made it rough to work with anyone because they would have to pick up my slack. So I started to get picked on here and there, but nothing extravagant. Fast forward through many years of weight training, I get complemented and talked up by customers and have been offered a job, which I declined. Today, I am still with the same landscaping company, which I have been at since 2011.

Now I'm trying to combine both the fitness and manual labor industry by aiding manual laborers life a healthier life. I want to do this by helping them improving their eating habits, exercise routine, and reducing and minimizing overuse and accidental injuries that are causes by varies reasons. For example, muscular imbalances.
